When does the Tennessee Legislative Session begin?
The Tennessee General Assembly meets in Nashville each year beginning at noon on the second Tuesday of January.  Each General Assembly meets 90 session days over a two-year period.

Where can I find a list of ambulatory surgical centers in Tennessee?

To locate a complete listing of ASCs in the state, visit Tennessee Department of Health’s online facility locator at http://health.state.tn.us/hcf/Facilities_Listings/facilities.htm

Select “Ambulatory Surgical Treatment Center” as facility type and search by name or county.

 
Who oversees the licensure of ambulatory surgical centers in Tennessee?
The Tennessee Department of Health has a section of their website that lists the different regulations for licensure of an ASC. Go to http://health.state.tn.us/HCF/index.htm.

Where can I find a list of procedures that are covered by the Medicare Program?

The US Department of Health, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services issues the list of procedure codes which may be performed in an ASC under the Medicare program as well as the ASC payment group assigned to each of the procedure codes.
